MEET THE ARTIST

After a distinguished military career, I’ve built a life as an internationally acclaimed, multi-discipline artist. Over the years, I’ve worked with blue-chip companies, celebrities, and private collectors both in the UK and abroad.
I studied Art and Design and sought further tuition from respected painters to refine my technique. My journey began in Dorset and Somerset, where I honed my love of landscapes and seascapes, creating original paintings and prints for artisan markets and in my own gallery. I was soon commissioned to produce detailed aircraft drawings, portraits, abstracts, and studies of flora and fauna — work that eventually led me to open a gallery in Northamptonshire.

Although I’ve explored many styles and subjects, my deepest passion has always been painting moody, dramatic skies and landscapes. That passion recently brought me to Bolton, where I focus on contemporary oil on canvas works inspired by the surrounding countryside.
I paint with a loose, expressive style that allows the paint to move as freely as the weather I’m trying to capture. My work is driven by the raw beauty of nature — the rolling clouds before a storm, the restless horizon, the shifting light that transforms everything in an instant.

For me, a painting should hold emotion. I want people to feel the wind, sense the weight of the sky, and step into the atmosphere of the scene. Each piece is my attempt to freeze a fleeting moment of nature’s power, letting it live on the canvas long after it’s passed.

I invite you to explore my work and experience the landscapes and skies that continue to inspire me.
